Master Yang

Master Yang is a self-taught tea master, known for his dedication and bold approach to tea cultivation. Unlike many tea artisans who inherit their craft, he built his expertise from the ground up—studying, experimenting, and refining his skills through sheer determination.

His tea garden, located at 1,200m in Hsinchu County, defies tradition, as this tea is typically grown at much lower elevations. Many doubted his ability to produce high-quality tea at this altitude, but through innovation and persistence, he proved them wrong. His tea is now recognized for its unique terroir and exceptional character.
